ORDER ESTABLISHING A COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, in Lawful Meeting Assembled:
1. That, under authority of Article 2, Chapter 106, Colorado
Revised Statutes, 1953, as amended by the 42nd General Assembly, there is
hereby created and established the Weld County Planning Commission;
2. That the members of such Commission shall be the following:
(a) The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, who
shall serve ex-officio;
(b) The following persons, all of whom are residents of and
the owners of real property in Weld County.

I. All of such members except the Chairman of this Board shall serve
for terms of four years and until their respective successors have been
appointed, except the terms of office shall be staggered by making the
above initial appointments for one, two, three, and four years respectively.
All members of such commission shall be reimbursed for actual expenses
incurred in the performance of their duties as such members.
4. At the expiration of the term of appointment of any member
of such Commission his successor shall be appointed by this Board for a term

of four years. In the event of a vacancy in the office of any such member by
reason of death, resignation or removal from the county, or in the event any
such member shall cease to be the owner of real property situated in this
county, this Board shall declare a vacancy in such office and shall appoint
some qualified person for the remainder of such term, and in the event any
appointed member shall be guilty of misconduct or non-performance of duty as
a member of such Commission, this Board shall have the right to remove such
member from office and to appoint some other qualified person to such office
for the remainder of such term.
5. The Weld County Planning Commission shall proceed in all
respects in accordance with, and shall have all of the authority, powers and
duties provided by said Article 2, Chapter 106, Colorado Revised Statutes,
1953, as amended.
