The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, met in regular
session as the Housing Authority Board in full conformity with the laws of the
State of Colorado at the regular place of meeting in the Weld County Centennial
Center, Greeley, Colorado, May 29, 1996, at the hour of 9:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by the Chair and on roll call the following
members were present, constituting a quorum of the members thereof:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner George E. Baxter, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Dale K. Hall - EXCUSED
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert - EXCUSED
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
Finance and Administration Director, Don Warden
MINUTES: Commissioner Webster moved to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority
Board meeting of April 22, 1996, as printed. Commissioner Baxter seconded
the motion, and it carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS: CONSIDER FIRST AMENDMENT TO 1995-96 HOME CONTRACT AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN: Tony Groeger, Housing Authority
representative, stated this item, as well as the following items, was discussed
at a work session. He explained this amendment will transfer$34,000.00 from
the Rental Rehabilitation Program to the Single Family Owner Occupied
Program and extends the deadline to August 31, 1996. Commissioner Webster
moved to approve said amendment and authorize the Chair to sign. The
motion, seconded by Commissioner Baxter, carried unanimously.

CONSIDER REVISION TO SECTION 8 YEAR END SETTLEMENT REPORTS
FOR THE CERTIFICATE AND VOUCHER PROGRAMS FOR 1995 AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN: Mr. Groeger stated this item was also
discussed in a work session. These revised reports include expenditures for
indirect costs for the Certificate and Voucher Programs not reported in the Year
End Settlement Report submitted in March 1996. Commissioner Baxter moved
to approve said revised reports and authorize the Chair to sign. Commissioner
Webster seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.
CONSIDER REQUEST FOR FUNDING FROM AREA AGENCY ON AGING
AND TOWN OF DACONO: Chair Kirkmeyer stated the Area Agency on Aging
and the Town of Dacono are requesting a $500.00 contribution for a study to
determine the feasibility of a senior housing project for Dacono. Commissioner
Webster moved to approve said request, and Commissioner Baxter seconded
the motion, which carried unanimously.
Let the minutes reflect that the above and foregoing actions were attested to
and respectfully submitted by the Acting Clerk to the Board.
There being no further business, this meeting was adjourned at 9:40 a.m.
