SUBJECT: Legal Action Authorization
The Department of Planning Services has scheduled the following violations to be considered at
the October 14, 1997 hearing beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Department of Planning Services is
requesting that the Board review the individual cases and determine whether or not to authorize
legal action to remedy the violations.
VI -9600101 Steve Lance
Sections 26, 31.2, 31.3 and 31.4 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance
Conditions of approval for USR-1131 not completed and plat not recorded, No Flood Hazard
Development Permit and no Building Permits for Structures in the Agricultural Zone District
VI -9600316 Richard and Elizabeth Wilson
Sections 31.2, 31.3, 31.3.3 and 43 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance
House located on the property without the appropriate permits

The Department of Planning also recommends that the County Attorney be authorized to proceed
with legal action against any other persons occupying the properties, any persons claiming an
interest in the properties, and any persons acting in active concert with the identified parties.
Copies of the violation materials are available at the Department of Planning Services' office or the
Weld County Attorney's office.
