RE: SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1100 FOR A
COMMERCIAL BUSINESS (AUTO AND FARM MACHINERY REPAIR) IN THE
A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT -JOE R. GAONA
A public hearing was conducted on January 31, 1996, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner George E. Baxter, Pro-Tern
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner W. H. Webster
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Shelly Miller
County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Gloria Dunn
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice and an amended notice dated December 27, 1995, and duly
published January 4, 1996, in the North Weld Herald, a public hearing was conducted on January 17,
1996, at 10:00 a.m., to consider the request of Joe R. Gaona for a Site Specific Development Plan
and Special Review Permit for a commercial business (auto and farm machinery repair) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District. At said hearing on January 17, 1996, said matter was continued to
January 31, 1996, at which time Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of
record. Gloria Dunn, Planning Department representative, stated staff is requesting additional time
to review the applicants screening plan which was received yesterday. She suggested said matter
be continued to February 12, 1996, at 10:00 a.m., and confirmed the applicant's representatives
agreed with that date. Ms. Dunn clarified the storage and disposal plan must be submitted to the
Health Department prior to recording the plat but not prior to the Board hearing; only the screening
plan must be submitted to and reviewed by Planning staff prior to the Board hearing. She also
confirmed the applicants have received all information regarding Conditions of Approval and
Development Standards, the latest memorandum from the Health Department, etc. No public
testimony was offered conceming this matter. Commissioner Harbert moved to continue the request
of Joe R. Gaona for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit for a commercial
business (auto and farm machinery repair) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District to February 12, 1996,
at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Baxter, and it carried unanimously.
