RE: Installation of cable lines
Dear Ms. Willer:
Thank you for your recent letter concerning the installation of cable lines in the Parkland
Subdivision. We have made inquiry concerning the work being done in your neighborhood. We
are informed that a ditch crossing has caused some delays in the work, and the Contractor
performing the work then had to wait for some road base material to complete the restoration
work. We-have been assured, however, that the Contractor will complete the restoration work,
and it will be done in a workmanlike manner.
Neither the representative from Scripps Howard nor the Weld County Inspector were aware of,
or could respond to any problem with electrical outages, telephone outages, or natural gas cuts.
On occasion, there are temporary outages when this kind of work is being done, but no one was
aware of any specific outages with this particular job. A telephone company was apparently also
doing some work in your subdivision at the same time the cable contractor has been there, and so
that may explain some of the outages.
Because of the problems with the ditch crossing and the wait for the road base materials, the
cable installation has taken longer than expected. The Contractor has nevertheless given
assurances to Scripps Howard, and the Weld County Inspector has been regularly visiting the
area to verify, that the Contractor is doing its best to get things done, and done right. They do
appreciate the patience of the Parkland Homeowners.

Hopefully, the restoration work will be completed soon, and Parkland homeowners will be able
to enjoy the cable television available in their subdivision.
