RE: GRANT COUNTY DANCE HALL LICENSE NUMBER 245 ISSUED TO ISAURO AND
HELEN CHAVEZ, DBA EL ROJO LOUNGE - EXPIRESDECEMBER 31,1996, AT T2:00
MIDNIGHT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, 'pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home -Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Isauro and Helen Chavez,xlbaEl Rojo Lounge, presented to the Board of County
Commissionersen application for a County Dance License to hold publicslances at the location
descri bed es -follows:
3101 Highway 119, Longmont, Colorado 80501
WHEREAS, saidapplicant has paid to Weld County the sum of TWENTYfIVE AND NO/100
DOLLARS ($25A0) for -said Weld County Dance Hall License, -and
WHEREAS, Isauro and Helen Chavez,zlba El Rojo Lounge, -currently have a Tavern Liquor
License issued by Weld County -and theState-of Colorado, subject to various conditionsas detailed
in the Board of County Commissioner's February 9, 1995, Resolution, which license -expires
February 23, 1996, and
WHEREAS, having -examined said application, the Board'deems it appropriate to grant a
Weld County Dance -Hall License to Isauro and Helen Chavez, -dba El Rojo Lounge, to and until
February 23, 1596, with said licenseteing subject to -extension at the discretion of the Board through
12:00 o'clock midnightDecember 31,1'996, and
WHEREAS, said license shall be issued upon the express condition and agreement that the
public dances will be 'conducted in strict conformity toell laws of the State of Colorado, and any
violation thereof shall be cause for revocation of the license.
NOW, -THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board -of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Dance Hall License Number 245 be, and hereby is, granted to Isauroand
Helen Chavez, dba El Rojo Lounge, to _conduct dances at the hereinabove described location.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board thatsaid License Number 245 shall be in effect
through 12:00 -o'clock midnight, December 31, 1996, conditional upon the -applicant conducting all
dances instrict conformity to all laws of theStateaf Colorado.

License fee of $25.00, payable to Clerk to the Board, P.O. Box 758,
Greeley, Colorado 80632, is hereby tendered and application is hereby made for
a license to conduct a public dance hall, booth or pavilion, where public dances
are held, for the calendar year l997 or portion thereof.
The undersigned hereby makes application for a County Dance Hall License,
under the provisions of Title 12, Article 18, CRS, 1973 as amended, and for that
purpose makes the following answers to the questions contained in this
application. Every question must be answered. Any false answer or statement
made by the applicant constitutes perjury and the person making such statements
subjects any license issued herein to revocation.
