(Also in attendance, Bruce Barker, Weld County Attorney) MR. BAXTER: Call to order violation hearings. Roll call. ROLL CALL: George E. Baxter, Chair Constance L. Harbert, Pro Tem Dale K. Hall Barbara J. Kirkmeyer W.H. Webster CHAIR: Bruce, do you have anything? MR.BARKER: Yes, Mr. Chair. The first case we have is VI#9600316, Richard and Elizabeth Wilson. The Wilsons are represented by counsel, Tom Hellerich. He had communicated with me earlier this week, I guess yesterday and also last week, to the fact that he would not be able to be here today. And so, I've worked out an agreement with him that I would ask the Board of County Commissioners to refer the case immediately to the County Attorney's Office for follow-up. And Mr. Hellerich is in agreement with that. What we will plan on doing is meeting with Mr. Hellerich and his clients, with staff also, to discuss the violation case and to take it further if necessary, to court if necessary. But at this point in time, I'd like to go ahead and ask you to refer it to us immediately. Some individuals have shown up today to discuss the matter, but we have already discussed that with them, that we would be asking you to do this and that we will follow-up on some of their other concerns through the department and through the staff there. MR. BAXTER: Ok, thank you. MR. HALL: Mr. Chairman, I move to refer this to the County Attorney immediately. MR. WEBSTER: Second. MR. BAXTER: Motion by Dale, second by Bill to refer to the County Attorney immediately. Discussion? All in favor say aye. ALL: Aye. MR. BAXTER: Opposed? Motion is carried. 972244 Hello
