Agland, Inc., appreciates the business Weld County has given us in the past. We feel that
it has been a good business relationship for both parties.
Agland believes that it has a reason to lodge a formal complaint over the Weld County
propane bid. That reason being that Advanced Petroleum Concepts is not in the propane
business in any form. Who knows what company will be delivering your propane, are they
going to bid it out to several companies?
If you notice in Agland, Inc.'s propane bid that the price of Weld County's propane will
not exceed $0.80 per gallon.
Agland stated the same in the '96 bid. When the cost of propane to Agland, Inc. was over
$1.00 per gallon Weld County was still paying $0.80 per gallon.
Agland believes that if the maximum price is taken into consideration, along with the
service that you receive from us, that Agland's propane bid is the best value for Weld
County.
