RE: GRANT REQUEST FROM HIGH PLAINS HOUSING FOR PREADVERTISEMENT OF
SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1084
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request for preadvertisement of an application from
High Plains Housing for Special Review Permit #1084 for migrant/farm labor housing in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District, and
WHEREAS, said property is described as part of the SE% SW% of Section 14, Township 4
North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after study and review the Board deems it advisable to grant said request, with
the hearing date to be set as May 10, 1995, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request for preadvertisement of an application from High Plains Housing
for Special Review Permit #1084 for migrant/farm labor housing in the A (Agricultural) Zone District
be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to consider said
application be, and hereby is, set as May 10, 1995, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 24th day of April, A.D., 1995.

High Plains Housing has submitted a request that the
Special Review Permit application for migrant/farm labor
housing, which will be heard by the Planning Commission
on May 2, 1995, be preadvertised. A hearing before the
Board on May 10, 1995, is being requested. If you wish to
approve this request, the specified date will allow adequate
time for advertising.

NOTICE
Pursuant to the zoning laws of the State of Colorado and the Weld County Zoning Ordinance, a
public hearing will be held in the Chambers of the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, First Floor, Greeley, Colorado, at the
time specified. All persons in any manner interested in the Site Specific Development Plan and
Special Review Permit are requested to attend and may be heard.
Should the applicant or any interested party desire the presence of a court reporter to make a
record of the proceedings, in addition to the taped record which will be kept during the hearing, the
Clerk to the Board shall be advised in writing of such action at least five days prior to the hearing.
The cost of engaging a court reporter shall be borne by the requesting party.
BE IT ALSO KNOWN that the text and maps so certified by the Weld County Planning Commission
may be examined in the office of the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, located in the
Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Third Floor, Greeley, Colorado.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Weld County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 2, 1995, at 1:30 p.m.
for the purpose of considering a Site Specific Development Plan and a A Site Specific Development Plan
and a Special Review permit for migrant/farm labor housing in the A (Agricultural) zone district. for the
property described below. Approval of the request may create a vested property right pursuant to
Colorado Law.
APPLICANT: High Plains Housing
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Part of the SE4 SW4 of Section 14, T4N, R66W
TYPE AND INTENSITY OF PROPOSED USE: A Site Specific Development Plan and a Special Review
permit for migrant/farm labor housing in the A (Agricultural)
zone district.
LOCATION: Approximately 1/4 mile east of Highway 85; north of and adjacent to Weld County Road 44.
SIZE: 2.43 acres, more or less.
The public hearing will be held in the Weld County Commissioners' Hearing Room, First Floor, Weld
County Centennial Center, 915 Tenth Street, Greeley, Colorado. Comments or objections related to the
above request should be submitted in writing to the Weld County Department of Planning Services, 1400
N. 17th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80631, before the above date or presented at the public hearing on
May 2, 1995.
Copies of the application are available for public inspection in the Department of Planning Services, 1400
N. 17th Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80631. Please call Wendi Swanson, at Phone # (970) 353-6100, Ext.

SUBJECT: Pre -advertising for Eoard of County Commissioners hearing
for USR-1084, High Plains Housing
The Planning Commission hearing date is May 2, 1995. The Board of County Commissioners
hearing date is May 10, 1995. This would require that the legal notice be published prior to April
30, 1995. To accomplish this pre -advertising would need to be approved by the Board of County
Commissioners.
