RE: APPROVE REASSIGNMENT, APPOINTMENTS, AND REAPPOINTMENT OF
VARIOUS INDIVIDUALS TO THE WELD COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that various individuals be reassigned,
appointed, and reappointed to said Commission, as follows:
Christie Nicklas, reassigned from at-large to District 1,
term expiration July 31, 1999,
Fred Walker, replaces Ron Sommer in District 2,
term expiration July 31, 1997,
Robert Tucker, replaces Zachary Allely in District 3,
term expiration July 31, 1997,
Marie Koolstra, reappointed to District 5,
term expiration July 31, 1999,
Glenn Vaad, replaces Christie Nicklas as at-large member,
term expiration July 31, 1999, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reassign, appoint, and reappoint the
above-named individuals to said board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that those individuals listed above be, and hereby are, reassigned,
appointed, and reappointed to the Weld County Planning Commission, with their terms to expire
as listed.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
