contract REW-5576 dated November 15, 1920 for lease of right
of way to Weld County has been misplaced asking that, if
possible, we obtain a copy of this contract for your files.

of the above referred to agreement for your file.

AGREEMENT TO GRANT THE USE OF LAND LYING WEST OF THE DEPOT AT HEREFORD, COLORADO,
TO THE GREAT WESTERN SUGAR COMPANY FOR SUGAR BEET PILING GROUND:
After due consideration, The Board of County-Commissioners of Weld County, -
Colorado, do hereby agree to grant the use of land lying West of the Depot at Hereford,
Colorado, to the Great Western Sugar Company for use as a sugar beet piling ground.
Said tract of land is owned by the C. B. & Q. Railroad Company and is leased to
Weld County, Colorado, under Easement #37764.
This agreement shall terminate at such time that Weld County, Colorado,
needs the land for road purposes.

(1) 2 THAT, for and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar
($1.00) ;receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and upon the condi-
ti ons hereinafter set forth, the first party. herein grants unto the
second party license to construct, maintain and use a public highway
upon the premises of the first party at Sligo, Weld County, Colorado,

( 2) The Railroad Company reserves unto itself at all times
during the term of this license, the right. to- use said premises, 'or—
to license the use of said premises, _for -sewers, water-.mains,,.conduits,
and other underground construction (except culverts or bridges to be
constructed thereon as a part of said highway) , and also for telephone,
telegraph) and power and light transmission wires, and all other kinds
of aerial construction, together with:the supports therefor, and for
all other purposes, w.including the use of the surface of said. premises,
not inconsistent with the maintenance- and useby,the second party of
said public highway thereover.
( 3) The said highway shall be constructed and maintained by
the second= party at its sole cost and e;roense, and the second party'
shall be charged with all duty and obligation as to the due and proper
construction, maintenance and use of said. highway, it being under- / /iyou.

perty of any person or persons, whomsoever, in any manner arising
• from, or growing out of, the construction, maintenance, existence

whatsoever cause.
(4) It is further understood and agreed that if at any time in
the future any change in the use of its said premises by the first
party shall in its judgment make such action, necessary, the first
party shall have the right, upon six months' notice in writing to the
second party, to terminate this license, and that upon the expiration
of said notice period, all the rights and privileges herein granted.

(4) This license shall be binding upon the successors or assigns
