IN THE MATTER OF CHANGE IN BOUNDARY LINES OF THE
COMMISSIONERS DISTRICTS OF WELD COUNTY:
Commissioner Shultz read and offered the following resolution and moved its adopt-
tion, to-wit:
WHEREAS, the County Commissioner Districts of Weld County do not, in the opinion of
the Board of County Commissioners, conform to the proper division of the County with re-
spect to population, value of assessable property, revenues returned and amount of roads
in each district, and that the best interests of the County will be subserved by a re-
districting of the County into Commissioner' s districts.
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
that the boundaries of each of the Commissioner' s districts be and the same are hereby
altered and established so that each of the districts shall be situated within the
boundary lines respectively as follows, to-wit:
COMMISSIONER DISTRICT NUMBER ONE: - Commissioner District Number One shall consist
of all that territory lying and being within the following described boundary line, viz:-
Commencing on the West county line at the Northwest corner of Section Eighteen (18),
Township Seven (7) North, Range Sixty-seven (67) West, of the 6th P.M.; thence, due East
five (5) miles to the Northwest corner of Section Thirteen (13), Township Seven (7) North,
Range Sixty-seven (67) West, of the 6th P.M.; thence, South along the Section line, eight
(8) miles to the Northwest corner of Section Twenty-five (25), Township Six (6) North,
Range Sixty-seven (67) West, of the 6th P.M. ; thence, due East along the section line eight
(8) miles to the Northeast corner of Section Thirty (30), Township Six (6) North, Range
Sixty-five (65) West, of the 6th P.M.; thence, due South along the East line of said
Section Thirty, Township Six (6) North, Range Sixty-five (65) West, of the 6th P.M., to
the intersection of said line with the city limits of the City of Greeley; thence, following
the line of the city limits of the City of Greeley in a generally Southerly and Westerly
direction to the intersection of the said line of the City limits with the center line of
Sixteenth Street (16th St) in the said City of Greeley; thence, East following the center
line of said Sixteenth Street (16th St) to the intersection of said center line with the
center line of Fourteenth Avenue (14th Ave) in the City of Greeley; thence, North along
the center line of Fourteenth Avenue (14th Ave) to the center line of Eighth Street (8th St)
in the City of Greeley; thence, due East along the center of Eighth Street (8th St) to the
East boundary line of the said City of Greeley; thence, continuing due East from the said
Center of Eighth Street (8th St) to the West boundary line of Section Two (2), Township
Five (5) North, Range Sixty-five (65) West, of the 6th P.M.; thence, due North and along
section lines about Six and three-fourths (6 3/4) miles to the Northwest corner of Section
Two (2), Township Six (6) North, Range Sixty-five (65) West, of the 6th P.M.; thence due
East and along Township line twelve (12) miles t the Northeast corner of Section Three (3) ,
Township Six (6) North, Range Sixty-three (63) West, of the 6th P.M.; thence, North sixty
(60 feet to the Southeast Corner of Section Thirty-four (34) , Township Seven (7) North,
Range Sixty-three (63) West, of the 6th PM., thence, East, to the Southeast corner of
Section Thirty-six (36), Township Seven (7) North, Range Sixty-one (61) West, of the 6th
P.M., thence, South thirty (30) feet to the center of the highway; thence, East along the
county line thirty (30) miles to the Southeast corner of Weld County, or to the Southeast
corner of Section Thirty-six (36), Township Seven (7) North, Range Fifty-six (56) West; of
the 6th P.M. , thence, due North and along the East county line to the extreme Northeast
corner of the county; thence, due West and along the North boundary line of the county to
the extreme Northwest corner thereof; thence, due South and along the West boundary line
of the county to the Northwest corner of Section Eighteen (18), Township Seven (7) North,
Range Sixty-seven (67) West, of the 6th P.M., to the place of beginning.

COMMISSIONER DISTRICT NUMBER TWO: - Commissioner District Number Two shall consist
of all that territory lying and being within the following described boundary lines, viz: -
Commencing on the West county line at the Northwest corner of Section Eighteen (18) ,
Township Seven (7) North, Range Sixty-seven (67) West, of the 6th P.M., Thence, due East
five (5) miles to the Northwest corner of Section Thirteen (13), Township Seven (7) North,
Range Sixty-seven (67) West, of the 6th P.M. , thence, due South eight (8) miles to the
Northwest corner of Section Twenty-five (25), Township Six (6) North, Range Sixty-seven (67)
West, of the 6th P.M., thence, due East along the section line eight (B) miles to the
Northeast corner of Section Thirty (30), Township Kix (6) North, Range Sixty-five (65) West,
of the 6th P.M. , thence, due South along the East line of said Section Thirty (30), Town-
ship Six (6) North, Range Sixty-five (65) West, of the 6th P.M. , to the intersection of
said Section line with the city limits of the City of Greeley; thence, following the line
of the city limits of the City of Greeley in a generally southerly and westerly direction
to the intersection of the said line of said city limits with the center line of Sixteenth
Street (16th St) in said City of Greeley; thence, East following along the center line of
said Sixteenth Street (16th St) to the intersection of said line with the center line of
Fourteenth Avenue (14th Ave) in said City; thence, South along said center line of Four-
teenth Avenue (14th Ave) to the intersection of said line with the center line of Twentieth
Street (20th St) in said City; thence, East along the center line of said Twentieth Street
(20th St) to the intersection of said center line with the center line of Eleventh Avenue
(11th Ave); thence, following along the center line of said Eleventh Avenue (11th Ave) to
the center line of Twenty-eighth Street (28th St) in the City of Greeley; thence, East
along the center line of said Twenty-eighth Street (28th St) to the center line of US high-
way number 85 ( State Highway number 3); thence, Southerly along the center line of said
US highway 85 (State Highway number 3) to the intersection of the center line of said US
Highway 85 (State Highway number 3) with the center line of the main channel of the South
Platte River; thence, in a Southerly direction along the center of the South Platte River
to the South boundary line of Weld County; thence, due West along the county line to the
Southwest corner of Weld County; thence, North along the Nest boundary line of Weld County
to the Northwest corner of Section Six (6), Township Four (4) North, Range Sixty-eight (68)
West, of the 6th P.M. ; thence, due East six (6) miles along the county line; thence, due
North along the county line to the place of beginning.

COMMISSIONER DISTRICT NUMBER THREE: - Commissioner District Number Three shall consist
of all that territory lying and being within the following described boundary lines, viz: -
Commencing at a point where the center of the main channel of the South Platte River enters
the South side of Weld County; thence, in a Northerly direction and following the center
of said stream to the center of the river bridge in Section Twenty-nine (29), Township Five
(5) North, Range Sixty-five West, of the 6th P.M.; thence, in a Northerly direction along
the center line of the US Highway Number 85 (State Highway Number 3) to the center of
Twenty-eighth Street (28th St) in the City of Greeley; thence, West on said center line of
Twenty-eighth Street (28th St) to its intersection with the center line of Eleventh Avenue
(11th Ave) in said City; thence, North on the center line of said Eleventh Avenue (11th Ave)
to its intersection with the center line of Twentieth Street (20th St) in said City; thence,
West along the center line of said Twentieth Street (20th St) to its intersection with the
center line of Fourteenth Avenue (14th Ave) in said City; thence, North along said center
line of Fourteenth Avenue (14th Ave) to its intersection with the center line of Eighth
Stteet (8th St) in said City; thence,due East along the center of Eighth Street (8th St)
to the East boundary line of said City of Greeley; thence, continuing due East from the
said center of Eighth Street to the West boundary line of Section Two (2), Township Five
(5) North, Range Sixty-five (65) West; thence due North and along section lines about
six and three-fourths (6 3/4th) miles to the Northwest corner of Section Two, Township
Six (6) North, Range Sixty-five (65) West,thence, due East along Township line twelve (12)
miles to the Northeast corner of Section Three (3), Township Six (6) North, Range Sixty-
three (63) .Vest; thence, North sixty (60) feet to the Southeast corner of Section Thirty-
four (34), Township Seven (7) North, Range Sixty-three (63), thence, due East along Township
line fourteen (14) miles to the East boundary line of Weld County; thence, South and along
the East boundary line of the county to the extreme Southeast corner thereof; thence, West
and along the South boundary line of the County to a point where the center of the main
channel of the South Platte River enters the South side of Weld County, the place of begin-
ning.
