PRELIMINARY CERTIFICATION OF VALUATION
Weld County
Don Warden
915 10th St
Greeley, Co 80631
Ladies/Gentlemen:
The purpose of this letter is to certify assessed and actual
values for your district for the taxable year of 1999. The top
portion of the certification contains the assessed valuation for
real and personal property that you have received from our office
in past years. The bottom portion contains the actual valuation
information on real property that is to be used by non-school
taxing districts to calculate local growth in accordance with the
1992 Tabor Amendment which is part of the Colorado Constitution.
Our office has not yet received all the state assessed
distributions of value for taxing districts and relied on last
year's proportions for this first certification.
We will send you a second and final certification of value
on or before December 10th. This final certification will contain
changes that will occur to your district's values. Please be
advised that your values will change as a result of normal ,
continuing operations that must occur in the Assessor's office
during this three month period.
Sincerely Yours.
