RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO WELD COUNTY EXTENSION ADVISORY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Weld County Extension Advisory Council,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Sharon Clifton be appointed to said council,
to replace Judy Kelly, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Sharon Clifton to said council, with
her term to expire November 1, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Sharon Clifton be, and hereby is, appointed to the Weld County
Extension Advisory Council, with her term to expire November 1, 1999.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 10th day of March, A.D., 1997.
