Colorado has been relocated to follow the alignment of Federal Aid Primary Project No. Fl 003-1(2) , and WHEREAS, that all portions of the old highway relocated by the construct- ion have beer. abondoned as a part of the State Highway System, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Board that the abandoned portions should remain public highways, and should be included in the County Road S. . r System (1953 Colorado Statutes Annotated, Chapter 202, Section 6) , except that part of the highway within the corporate limits of Hudson, Colorado. WHEREAS, the County of {fm,[) , Colorado, has, in accordance with the terms of Senate Bill 170, enacted by the 1953 General Assembly of the State of Colorado, determined and designated a County Road System consisting of primary and secondary highways or roads, and has prepared a map of said System, whereon the primary roads are designated by numbers; and WHEREAS, as required by Section 10, of said Act. Notice of Intent to Adopt said map as the Official Map of the County Road System, has been published once each week in the ORES! {?AII.T ?R , a newspaper of general circulation, published in MILD County for successive weeks, being three (3) publications, as evidenced by Publisher's Affidavit; and WHEREAS, on the 214 day of LR1A.D., 1953, at A.M. This resolution is forwarded for your information and file. If it is the desire of your board that the abandoned portions should remain public highways, your board should adopt the necessary resolutions to add them to your county system as the 1953 Colorado Statutes Annotated, Chapter 202, Section 6 states that the right-of-way of all abandoned portions of a state highway shall revert to the adjacent property owners, unless the abandoned portion is necessary for use as a public highway and a resolution so stating is adopted by the County Board of Commissioners within ninety days of the abandonment as part of the State Highway System.
