Lupton, CO 80621 Re: Traffic Control Devices for Aristocrat Acres Dear Ms. Robbins: I have referred your letter regarding installation of"stop"and"speed limit"signs to the Public Works Department for review. The Department has determined a traffic study should be conducted for the subdivision. Given the size of Aristocrat Acres and other traffic studies currently underway, the results of the study will not be available for review by the Board of County Commissioners for approximately 90 days. We will advise you of the results of the study when they become available. Very truly yours BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS cdel( L41 Dale K. Hall, Chair pc: Frank B. The speeding is outof control . I have contacted Public Works about getting stop signs put in. I was told that stop signs would do no good to control speeding. That the purpose of stop signs was only to show who had the right of way. I was referred by Public Works to the sheriffs department. I contacted the sheriff's department about the spdding problem. The sheriffs department said we needed both stop signs and speed limit signs in Aristocrat. Mr. Clausen, at the sheriffs department pointed out there are NO STOP SIGNS or SPEED LIMIT SIGNS in Aristocrat. He said they are needed to control the speeding and that the Public Works Dept. is wrong about stop signs. I am getting the rim around about stop signs. School has started. I am one of the few parents who is out at the bus stop with my child and I am tired of teeing people speed on our roads. School just started and each morning I have seen people speeding when there are children out waiting for the bus. What does it take to get stop signs and spend limit signs in Aristocrat? Something has to be done. Sincerely, f/1 '4`V Mary S. Robbins Hello
