Hall, Chair - EXCUSED Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Pro-Tern Commissioner George E. Baxter Commissioner M. J. Geile Commissioner Glenn Vaad Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison Planning Department representative, Kim Ogle Health Department representative, Sheble McConnellogue Public Works representative, Don Carroll The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated August 25, 1999, and duly published August 28, 1999, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Faith Tabernacle Church, % Danny Perdew, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit #1217 for a Church in the R-1 (Low-Density Residential) Zone District. Bruce Barker, County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Mr. Ogle submitted a memorandum, marked Exhibit E, requesting this matter be continued to September 29, 1999. Tom Cope, Total Engineering Service, represented the applicant and stated he has been working on the drainage and irrigation to mitigate the situation. He stated the applicant is requesting this matter be continued to finalize unresolved issues regarding the Boomerang Lateral Ditch which runs through the property. In response to Commissioner Geile, Mr. Ogle stated the applicant has addressed all the issues included in the agreement with the City of Greeley. Gary Weiderspan, surrounding property owner, stated he supports the request to continue this matter because there are still several unresolved issues regarding the Boomerang Lateral Ditch, leach field locations in proximity to the ditch, and there has been limited contact with the leaders of the church regarding its plans. Following discussion regarding a suitable hearing date, Commissioner Vaad moved to continue the request of Faith Tabernacle Church, % Danny Perdew, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit#1217 for a Church in the R-1 (Low-Density Residential) Zone District, to October 13, 1999, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Baxter, and it carried unanimously. • Pt, lit 992260 PL1325 HEARING CERTIFICATION - FAITH TABERNACLE CHURCH, % DANNY PERDEW (USR #1217) PAGE 2 This Certification was approved on the 13th day of September, 1999.
