HomeMy WebLinkAbout952054.tiffRESOLUTION RE: ITEMIZING LEGAL HOLIDAYS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 1996 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, following is a list of holidays proposed for 1996 as days off for Weld County employees: New Year's Day Washington/Lincoln Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Veteran's Day Thanksgiving Christmas Monday, January 1, 1996 Monday, February 19, 1996 Monday, May 27, 1996 Thursday, July 4, 1996 and Friday, July 5, 1996 (replaces Colorado Day) Monday, September 2, 1996 Monday, November 11, 1996 Thursday, November 28, 1996 and Friday, November 29, 1996 (replaces King's Birthday) Tuesday, December 24, 1996 (replaces Columbus Day) and Wednesday, December 25, 1996 FLOATING HOLIDAYS: Sheriffs Department (Court Personnel) -- Will follow holiday schedule as set by State of Colorado. District Attorney -- July 5, November 29, and December 24, 1996. Human Resources -- Will follow holiday schedule as set by State of Colorado.
