RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO DATA SHARING SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH U S WEST
BUSINESS RESOURCES, INC., AS AGENT FOR U S WEST COMMUNICATIONS, INC.,
AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Amendment to the Data Sharing Service
Agreement between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County Assessor's Office, and U S West
Business Resources, Inc., as agent for U S West Communications, Inc., with terms and conditions
being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Amendment to the Data Sharing Service Agreement between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, on behalf of the Weld County Assessor's Office, and U S West Business Resources, Inc.,
as agent for U S West Communications, Inc., be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 21st day of August, A.D., 1995.

AMENDMENT TO DATA SHARING SERVICE AGREEMENT
THIS AMENDMENT TO DATA SHARING SERVICE AGREEMENT is made and entered
into this 9/5-r day of LAt , 1995 by and between U S WEST Business Resources,
Inc., with offices for transacts of business located at 188 Inverness Drive West, Englewood,
Colorado 80112, as agent for U S WEST Communications, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "U S
WEST," and the County of Weld, Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Weld, with offices for transaction of business located at 915 Tenth Street, Greeley,
Colorado 80631, hereinafter referred to as "County."
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, on April 3, 1995 the parties hereto entered into a Data Sharing Service
Agreement wherein the Weld County Assessor's Office is to make copies of its land maps and
deliver the same to Baymont Technologies, Inc., and U S WEST is to pay for Baymont to return to
Weld County a computer -based mapping system, and
WHEREAS, in preparing said Data Sharing Service Agreement, the parties failed to include
in said Agreement the obligation of Weld County to provide updates of the land base maps to
Baymont Technologies, Inc., as they become available at a minimum of two times per year for a
period of three years from April 3, 1995, and
WHEREAS, the parties originally contemplated such updating service and now desire to
amendment the original Data Sharing Service Agreement to reflect the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained
herein and in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained in the original Data
Sharing Service Agreement executed on April 3, 1995, the parties hereto agree to amend such Data
Sharing Service Agreement as follows:
Add to Paragraph 5, "MISCELLANEOUS", the following subparagraph:
L. Updates: County agrees to provide updates of the land base to US WEST
Communications, Inc., 1801 California, 10th Floor, Denver, Colorado 80202, at
County's sole expense as updates become available to County at a minimum of two
times per year for a period of three years. The term "provide" as used herein means
to make copies of the plats described herein and to deliver the same to U S WEST
Communications, Inc. The term "updates" used herein means all plats received by
the Weld County Assessor's Office which show recently approved subdivisions in
Weld County, Colorado, as the term is defined in the Weld County Subdivision
Ordinance.
