RE: APPOINT DEFERRED COMPENSATION COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County offers a Deferred Compensation Plan to its employees that has
been approved by the Internal Revenue Service in accordance with IRS Code Section 457, and
WHEREAS, the Deferred Compensation Plan requires that a committee be appointed by
the Board to review any hardship withdrawals in accordance with the plan, and
WHEREAS, the committee is a standing committee comprised of the Director of Finance
and Administration, Comptroller, Director of Personnel and County Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, to date the appointments to the committee have been by name of the
incumbents in the positions, and
WHEREAS, the County Treasurer changed with the election of Art Willis, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration has recommended the Board adopt
the policy of appointing the incumbents of the above positions by title rather than name, to have
a standing committee by position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the incumbent Director of Finance and Administration, Comptroller, Director
of Personnel and County Treasurer be, and hereby are, appointed by title, rather than by name,
to a standing committee for the Deferred Compensation Committee to review hardship withdrawals
from the plan.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 22nd day of February, A.D., 1995.
