RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING REVIEW OF FINAL PLANS FOR SPECIAL
REVIEW PERMIT #1091- HIRSCH DAIRY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Comprehensive Manure Run -Off and
Process Waste Water Handling Plan for a 2,000 -head Dairy, a Dust Abatement Plan, a Fly
Control Plan, and an Odor Abatement Plan concerning Special Review Permit #1091 for Hirsch
Dairy, all of which shall meet the requirements concerning the health, safety, and welfare of the
neighborhood, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 1st day of October, 1997, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to allow surrounding property
owners time to review all documents; therefore, said hearing was continued to October 22,
1997, and
WHEREAS, on October 6, 1997, at the request of several interested parties, the Board
did reconsider the date set for continuance of this matter, and
WHEREAS, in order to allow a representative from the Colorado Department of Public
Health and Environment to attend said hearing, the Board deems it advisable to reschedule
said hearing to Wednesday, November 5, 1997, at 1:30 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is rescheduled to
November 5, 1997, at 1:30 p.m.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Clerk to the Board be, and hereby is, directed to
notify all surrounding property owners and to publish notice of said change in the county's legal
newspaper.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
