RESOLUTION - -
BE IT RESOLVED, that State Highway No. 37 in
Weld County be relocated to follow the alignment
of Project No. S 0049 (1), and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all portions of the
old highway relocated by the construction are hereby
abandoned as a part of the State Highway System,
effective February 3, 1958, •

TO SIGN COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH STATE HIGHWAY
DEPARTMENT REGARDING PROJECT S 0049(1):
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that they hereby approve a certain agreement with the State High-
Way Commission of Colorado, a public corporation, for the use and benefit

of the Department of Highways of the State of Colorado, doted April 2, 1957,
whereby the County has reviewed and approved the Geometric Standards designated
to govern the construction of a Federal Aid Secondary Project to consist of
improvements on State Highway No. 37, extending from about 0.5 miles south
of Jct SH 37-263 - Southerly, as per terms of said Agreement on behalf of
Weld County by signatures of the Board, as per attached Agreement and made

a part of this resolution.

COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this IWO day of WU 19S,
by and between the County ofd , party of the ,first part,
and THE STATE HIGHWAY COhNESSION OF COLORADO, a public corporation, for the use and
benefit of the DEPART1'ENT OF HIGHWAYS of the STATE OF COLORADO, party of *le second

WHEREAS, the Department has constructed, or proposes to construdt, or
provide for the construction of a project known as Project $ NIS

MOMS, the said State Highway is part of the Federal Aid Secondary System,
NOW, THEIL'?ORE, in accordance with the Federal Aid Act of 1950, the Parties
have jointly reviewed the Geometric Standards governing the type of construction for
said Project and have agreed as follows:
That the 19 Oh Annual ,Average Traffic Volume, as determined from actual
vehiculal.aount, by the Planning and Research Division of the Department is found
to be 10. vehicles per day. Therefore, in accordance with approved and
eyt i fished practices, the traffic volume twenty years hence is estimated to be
vehicles pe.r day. Consequently, the type of construction shall be that
designated as Type Nog of the Geometric Standards dated August 1, 1952 more
fully described as Mows:

Y Bridges and Separations shall
have a design load of I O . Those structures having a length less than
sixty (60) feet shall have a Clear roadway width, between curbs or wheelguards of

Department of Highways Budget is for the Mit " phase of the

This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the
Successors and assigns of the Parties thereto.
This Agreement is executed with reference to the signatories on behalf of
