CE IVED TO: Kieth Schuett/ Weld County Planning Departrnert CC: Trevor Jiricek/Weld County Health Department Jerry Charaska Steve Hennigan Subject: Suggested additional draft USR standard While working with Mr.Jiricek on his draft standards for Health Department considerations I became aware of a concern that prompted me to draft a standard to allow some flexibility as to exact locations of our proposed major additions at the Hudson site. I have drafted this with consideration for your comments some time back that the county prefers that much of our major activities be conducted in the areas furthest from the interstate highway, etc. Please consider the following request: 24) Proposed locations of major improvements such as surface coating and cleaning operations are approximate. Exact locations will be determined prior to filing for necessary permits. Alternate locations authorized by this standard are intended to be no closer to the interstate highway than those depicted in the USR drawing which accompanied our USR application, unless justified to the Planning Commission, and shall otherwise be in conformance with all other USR standards. Our reasons for requesting this is that our USR request is intended to illustrate the maximum plans for the foreseeable future, however we may need to do this in phases, installing high quality, but smaller modular units as business levels develop, and that nearby locations may prove more appropriate as operations change. We realize you may have to restate this for proper USR terminology if you concur with the intent of our request. I will be arriving in the area Monday and will contact you to see if this can still be incorporated as part of our application. Thank you for your cooperation in our application process to date. gjm C: \WPWIN6C\WPD0CS\STD24 .ASK Page 1 961663 08/17/96 08:39 TX/RX N0.4799 P.001 LAND-USE APPLICATION SUMMARY SHEET August 12, 1996 CASE NUMBER: USR-1123 NAME: Rescar Industries, Inc.
