RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO AREA AGENCY ON AGING
ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mary Batman be appointed to said board, to
replace Beverly McConnico; Paula Bernhardt be appointed to replace Gale Heiman; Josephine
Sanchez be appointed to replace Priscilla Kimboko; Virgil Harper be appointed to replace
Marguerite Scott; and Ruth Gartrell be appointed to replace James Riesberg, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Shirley lanelli be reappointed to said board,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Mary Batman, Paula Bernhardt,
Josephine Sanchez, and Virgil Harper, to said board, with their terms to expire January 31,
2002, and to appoint Ruth Gartrell to said board, with her term to expire January 31, 2001, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Shirley lanelli to said board, with
her term to expire January 31, 2002, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Mary Batman, Paula Bernhardt, Josephine Sanchez, and Virgil
Harper be, and hereby are appointed, to the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, with their
terms to expire January 31, 2002, and that Ruth Gartrell be, and hereby is appointed, to said
Board, with her term to expire January 31, 2001.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Shirley lanelli be, and hereby is
reappointed, to the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, with her term to expire January 31,
2002.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
