Re: Windsor -Severance Library District
Dear Commissioners:
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we would like to inform you that the District
plans to request voter approval for a bond issue this November. In addition to
requesting approval to incur debt, the District will seek voter authorization to
increase their operating fund expenditures. Both of these issues will require an
increase of tax revenues to the District.
Currently, the Board and library staff are completing the building plans along
with the cost of construction. Once these are finalized, we will formally re-
quest that the ballot issues are placed before the voters in November. We antici-
pate that these will be completed by early July.
