RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENT, REASSIGNMENT, AND APPOINTMENTS TO WELD
COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Weld County Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jack Epple be reappointed to said commission
as a District 6 representative, with a term expiring July 31, 1998, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Marie Koolstra be reassigned from an at -large
to a District 5 representative, replacing Judy Yamaguchi on said commission, with a term expiring
July 31, 1996, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ann Garrison replace Bud Clemons as a
District 4 representative, with a term expiring July 31, 1998; Zachary Allely replace Marie Koolstra
as an at -large representative, with a term expiring July 31, 1996; and Arlan Marrs replace Daniel
Lere as an at -large representative on said commission, with a term expiring July 31, 1998, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Jack Epple, reassign Marie Koolstra,
and appoint Ann Garrison, Zachary Allely, and Arlan Marrs to said commission, with terms to expire
as stated above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Jack Epple be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Weld County Planning
Commission, with his term to expire July 31, 1998.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Marie Koolstra be, and hereby is,
reassigned from an at -large to a District 5 representative on said commission, with her term to
expire July 31, 1996.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Ann Garrison, with a term to expire July
31, 1998, Zachary Allely, with a term to expire July 31, 1996, and Arlan Marrs, with a term to expire
July 31, 1998, be, and hereby are, appointed to said commission.
