OF THE COUNTY OF WELD TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF GEORGE L. EWING,
DECEASED: to July 1, 1960.
WHEREAS, this Board, did on June 6, 1951, appoint George L. Ewing
a Commissioner of the Housing Authority of the County of Weld for a term of
four years, and did on June 30, 1955, reappoint George L. Ewing a Commissioner
of said Housing Authority to hold office until July 1, 1960, and
WHEREAS, George L. Ewing has departed this life and this community
and Weld County have suffered a great loss by his passing, which we all deplore,
and a vacancy now exists on said Board, and
WHEREAS, the Board have full faith and confidence in the ability and
integrity of William E. Scott, Fort Lupton, Colorado, and he is willing to serve
on said Board.
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that William E. Scott, Fort Lupton, Colorado, be and he is hereby
appointed as Commissioner of the Housing Authority of the County of Weld to fill the
unexpired term of George L. Ewing, and to hold office until July 1, 1960.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following votes
