RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF VARIOUS INDIVIDUALS TO PLACEMENT
ALTERNATIVES COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Placement Alternatives Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Joseph Martinez be appointed to said
commission to replace Clifford Brookhart as the community -at -large representative, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Esteban Salazar be appointed to said
commission to replace Carolyn Olson as an attorney representative, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that H. Daniel Fahrenholtz be appointed to said
commission to replace Mary Braud as the physician representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Joseph Martinez, Esteban Salazar,
and H. Daniel Fahrenholtz to said commission, with their terms to expire December 31, 1997,
December 31, 1999, and December 31, 1998, respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Joseph Martinez, Esteban Salazar, and H. Daniel Fahrenholtz be,
and hereby are, appointed to the Placement Alternatives Commission, with their terms to expire
December 31, 1997, December 31, 1999, and December 31, 1998, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 17th day of March, A.D., 1997.
