Enclosed please find a Notice regarding the dissolution of the
Keenesburg Sanitation District . As set forth in the Notice, the
Town of Keenesburg is assuming the responsibilities of the
Sanitation District and the Sanitation District lies solely within
the Town of Keenesburg. It does not service any customers outside
of the Town of Keenesburg.
If you need further information regarding the dissolution
prior to the hearing, please advise .

NOTICE OF FILING OF PETITION FOR DISSOLUTION OF KEENESBURG
SANITATION DISTRICT
IN THE MATTER OF THE DISSOLUTION OF:
THE KEENESBURG SANITATION DISTRICT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Directors of the
Keenesburg Sanitation District has filed a Petition for Dissolution
of the Keenesburg Sanitation District, pursuant to 32-1-701, C.R.S.
The operation of the Special District' s wastewater treatment
plant and collection system will be assumed by the Town of
Keenesburg, pursuant to a Plan for Dissolution. All of the assets
of the District will be transferred to the Town of Keenesburg and
all of the obligations of the District, including the collection
and treatment of wastewater, will be assumed by the Town of
Keenesburg. The Plan for Dissolution of the District and the
Agreement for Dissolution between the Town of Keenesburg and the
Keenesburg Sanitation District for the transfer of assets and
assumption of obligations are available for public inspection at
the office of the Town Clerk at the Keenesburg Town Hall at 140 S .
Main, between the hours of 8 :30 a.m. and 4 : 00 p.m. , Monday through
Friday.
A hearing will be held on the proposed dissolution of the
Keenesburg Sanitation District on the 1O11day of
c , 1996, at 43'.,'52, . /p.m. , in Division
S . of tte Weld County District Court, at 9th Avenue and 9th
Street, Greeley, Colorado. Any interested party may appear and be
heard on the sufficiency of the Petition or on the adequacy of the
applicable financial and service provisions .
