Subject: Annexation of north half of WCR20 at County Road Business Park Annexation
Ladies and Gentlemen:
In a letter dated January 12, 1996, signed by David B.Lindsay of TST, Inc. on Town of Firestone
stationery, the following statement was made: "I will be annexing WCR20 between WCR13 and WCR15
so it will be a simple thing for me to include the north half of WCR20 adjacent to the County Road
Business Park property".
On March 14, 1996 Rick Patterson signed a resolution finding substantial compliance for a petition to
annex(amongst other county roads)said WCR20 between WCR13 and WCR15 as stated in subject letter.
I can find no public notice of a petition to annex the north side of WCR20 adjacent to County Road
Business Park as promised in the letter.
As I am not privy to the dealings between the Town of Firestone and Weld County that are not in the
Firestone public record I would assume that either this failure to petition the annexation of this part of
WCR20 is an oversight or a result of other arrangements not made a part of the public record as was the
letter of January 12. 1996.
I request that this letter be made a part of the public record of the County Road Business Park annexation.
