RESOLUTION TO S IGN
MODIFICATION OF FREEWAY
AGRFFMEENT SO. OF GREELEY:
WHEREAS, the estate Highway Department has submitted
six copies of a modification of freeway agreement south of
Greeley, and
WHEREAS, it would appear to be to the best interests
of t he County to sign said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by t he Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, Coloaddo that they sign
said agreement covering the modification of the original
agreement for a freeway south of Greeley,
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion
duly made and seconded, unanimously adopted.

MODIFICATION OF FREEWAY AGREEMENT
WHEREAS a-certain agreement was entered into between the STATE HIGHWAY
DEPARTMENT of the State of Colorado, hereinafter called the "Department" and WELD
COUNTY hereinafter called the "County", on the 23rd day of May, 1947, said agree—
ment relating to the location of a Freeway over a portion of State Highway No. 3
within the County, and access rights to and from the arterial lanes of said Freeway,
and
WHEREAS Paragraph 6 of said agreement provides that the same may be modified
at any time by the mutual consent of the parties hereto as may become necessary
for the best accomplishment through State and County cooperation of the whole
Freeway project for the benefit of the traveling public, subject to approval where
necessary of the Bureau of Public Roads, and
WHEREAS the parties hereto, with the approval of the Bureau of Public Roads,
desire to modify Paragraph 4 of the said agreement as hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree that Paragraph 4 shall be modified
to read as follows:
4. The County and the Department agree that egress and ingress from and
to said Freeway shall be permitted only at the following locations as shown on
Echibit "B" attached hereto:
C. To and from both sides of the Freeway at its intersection with
the north boundary of the Town of Evans.
D. To and from the West side only of the Freeway, at 24th Street in
the City of Greeley.
E. To and from both sides of tb?. Freeway at its junction with 8th
Avenue at 22nd Street in the City of Greeley.
F. To and from both sides of the Freeway in the SE Section 17,
T. 5 N. , R. 65 W. Sixth Principal Meridian. (Freeway Survey
Station 110±)
The present highway will be used as a service road from 22nd Street in Greeley,
southerly to the Town limits of Evans. A service road will be built on the easterly
side of the Freeway from 24th Street in Greeley, southerly to the Town limits of
Evans. Both service roads are shown on Exhibit "B".

Weld County
This Agreement is executed under authority of the laws in such cases made
and provided, and with reference to the signatories on behalf of the County by
virtue of a resolution duly passed by the County Commissi' ners of Weld County on
i2ccrm6rr /5 195L.
This Agreement shall not be deemed valid until it shall have been approved
by the Controller of the State of Colorado or by such assistant as he may designate.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Agreement to be
executed this 27th day of December 195 1.
