RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO EMERGENCY MEDICAL
SERVICES COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Emergency Medical Services Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Randy Carleton be appointed to said board,
to replace Ed Herring; Randy Houchen be appointed as the Fire Chief Associate representative
to replace Angie Wiley; Pat Romansik be appointed as the Northwest Fire representative to
replace Darin Dalton; and Jim McEachron be appointed as the Weld County Communications
representative to replace Kent Donahue, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Ron Dever, Tri-Area Ambulance
representative, Mary Mast, Aims EMS Department representative, and Yvonne Duarte,
Southwest Fire representative, be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Pat Romansik and Jim McEachron
to said board, with their terms to expire January 1, 2000; appoint Randy Carleton and Randy
Houchen and reappoint Ron Dever, Mary Mast, and Yvonne Duarte to said board, with their
terms to expire January 1, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Pat Romansik and Jim McEachron be, and hereby are appointed,
to the Emergency Medical Services Council, with their terms to expire January 1, 2000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Randy Carleton and Randy Houchen
be, and hereby are appointed, and that Ron Dever, Mary Mast, Yvonne Duarte be, and hereby
are reappointed to the Emergency Medical Services Council, with their terms to expire January
1, 2002.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
