RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENT TO JUVENILE SERVICES
PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution
dated July 7, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, together
with the Chief Judge of the Nineteenth Judicial District, agreed to create the Local Juvenile
Services Planning Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Rick Dill be appointed to said committee to
replace Hank Rusch.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Rick Dill be, and hereby is, recommended to the Chief Judge of
the Nineteenth Judicial District for appointment to the Local Juvenile Services Planning
Committee.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 25th day of January, A.D., 1999.

Please be advise it is the wish of the Weld County Sheriff's Office to change our representative on
the Juvenile Services Planning Committee from Manager Henry Rusch to Administrator Rick Dill.
Mr. Dill will be a great asset to this committee due to his knowledge of Senate Bill 94.
