Re: PUD Moriah Estates
Please be advised staff of the Windsor-Severance Fire Protection District has met with
Mr. Jim Scott, developer of the aforementioned PUD to discuss and review the
comments submitted by the fire district on June 22, 1998. Mr. Scott has provided the
district with drawings representing the proposed fire hydrant locations and said
locations do meet the requirements of the fire district. We have also been provided a
copy of a letter from North Weld County Water District that indicates a model water flow
proposal using 10" water mains will meet the district's required minimum fire flow of
1,000 G.P.M. @ 20 P.S.I. Therefore, the Windsor-Severance Fire Protection District
has no further comments or recommendations. All final hydrant locations as well as the
location and construction of the proposed emergency access must be approved by the
district.
