RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Emergency Medical Services Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Donovan Ehrman be appointed to said
board, to replace Maggie Valcourt; Ron Dever be appointed to replace Carol Irons; Yvonne
Duarte be appointed to replace Ken Montoya; and Mary Mast be appointed to replace Greg
Valcourt, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Ron Dever, Yvonne Duarte, and
Mary Mast to said board, with their terms to expire January 1, 1999, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Donovan Ehrman to said board,
with his term to expire January 1, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Ron Dever, Yvonne Duarte, and Mary Mast be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Emergency Medical Services Council, with their terms to expire January 1,
1999.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Donovan Ehrman be, and hereby is, appointed to the Emergency Medical
Services Council, with his term to expire January 1, 2001.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of October, A.D., 1998.
