RE: Retirement
I wish to officially inform you and Weld County that I will be retiring from
Colorado State University Cooperative Extension - Weld County, on SEPTEMBER 30,
1997.
I will have served as a County Extension Agent a total of 32 years, 3 months.
The past 8 years have been here in Weld County.
I have appreciated and enjoyed the opportunity to serve and work with the
forward-thinking people of Weld County.
Working with a 5-County Commissioners Board, with one designated as our
primary contact each year, has worked well.
Our Weld County Extension Agents and support staff represent the very best in
the state as well as being known via various committees they have served on.
Our Regional Director, Don Nitchie, has received the support of State Director,
Milan Rewerts, to move forward promptly to advertise and fill this position.
The people of Weld County that we provide educational programs for and work
with to assist adults and youth has been most rewarding.
