SUBJECT: Ordinance 191-A, Mixed Use-Development Plan Amendment
MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT RECOMMENDATION:
The Departient of Planning Services recommends that following verbiage be added to the MUD
Development Standards, Section 2.7.3, Design Standards after the first sentence:
-Consistent with the urban-scale development standards in the MUD area, all parking
areas for commercial and industrial development shall be paved according to
geometric and road structure design standards.
The Department of Planning Services' staff has determined that the following standards have been
satisfied as stated in the Comprehensive Plan Amendment Procedure 2.C (1) and (2) as follows:
(I) The Mixed Used Development (MUD) Area Development Standards are in need of
revision to ensure that the MUD Development Standards are consistent with the intent
of having urban development standards in the area;
(2) These amendments will be consistent with existing and future goals, policies, and needs
of the County.

Moved by Rusty Tucker that the following resolution be introduced for passage by the Welli(C4`gmtyrP1ann+pg
Commission. Be it resolved by the Weld County Planning Commission that the application for:
Ordinance 191-A, Mixed Use Development Plan Amendment

be recommended favorably to the Board of County Commissioners for the following reasons:
The Planning Commission recommends that following verbiage be added to the MUD Development
Standards, Section 2.7.3, Design Standards after the first sentence:

The Planning Commission has determined that the following standards have been satisfied as stated in the
