RE: APPROVE 30 MILE PER HOUR SPEED ZONE AND INSTALLATION OF SPEED LIMIT SIGNS
ON WELD COUNTY ROAD 380 AT HARDIN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineering Department has recommended to the
Board that a 30 mile per hour speed zone be established on Weld County Road 380
at Hardin to insure safety to the traveling public, and that necessary speed
limit signs be installed, as shown on the diagram attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said speed zone and traffic devices
are necessary for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Department of Engineering be, and hereby is, directed
to establish a 30 mile per hour speed zone and install said traffic control signs
on Weld County Road 380 at Hardin, for the safety of the general public, and that
said signs must conform to the State manual and specifications.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of April, A.D. , 1991.
