RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF JUDY A. GRIEGO AS DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant
to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the
authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has selected Judy A. Griego as the
Director of Social Services based upon the recruitment and selection process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Judy A. Griego be, and hereby is, appointed Director of Social
Services effective May 1, 1991, to serve at the pleasure of the Board.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that Ms. Griego
shall be compensated at the rate of $51,276.00 per year.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 1st day of April, A.D. , 1991.

JUDY A. GRIEGO �' 1 ' IAN
Ms. Griego began her career with the Weld County Division of Human
Resources in May, 1975. She was the Contract Compliance Officer for the
agency.
In 1979, she became the Director of the Employment Services of Weld
County. which is a major department of the Weld County Division of Human
Resources. In this position, Ms. Griego directed the local operation of
employment and training programs. Her most recent assignment has been
to administer and implement such programs as the Job Service, the Job
Training Partnership Act. the Job Opportunities and Basic Skills
Program. and other similar programs. She has been active in the plan-
ning of the new Weld County Works Demonstration Project.
Ms. Griego is an active member of various local and State community
service, employment, and educational committees.
Ms. Griego received her B.S. Degree in Behavioral Science in 1974 from
the University of Southern Colorado,
