REQUEST FOR PUBLIC OPENING ON FREEWAY NORTH OF THE POUDRE RIVER ON U. S. HIGHWAY #65
(STATE HIGHWAYI #3) 'IN COOPERATION WITH THE CITY OF GREELEY, COLORADO:
WHEREAS, The City of Greeley, Colorado, has requested that consideration
bebiven for a:publ'ic opening on U. S. Highway #85 (State Highway #3) North of the
Poudre River, and
WHEREAS, this Board is desirous in cooperating with the City of Greeley,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the public opening on the freeway would be of benefit to the
community and to the City of Greeley, Colorado, serving a new industrial area which
will include a new packing plant, and
WHEREAS, access to this area at present is inadequate and a public open-
ing on U. S. Highway #85 (State Highway #3) is the practicable access tothis area.
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that consideration be given to the request that the Agreement regarding
the Freeway Project on U. S. Highway #85 (State Highway #3) include a public opening
Nor*/ of the Poudre River, for the welfare of the County, its people and patrons.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote:
