HomeMy WebLinkAbout940244.tiff RESOLUTION RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH LEGAL ACTION AGAINST CERTAIN PARTIES FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE WELD COUNTY BUILDING CODE AND ZONING ORDINANCES WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Alberto S. Haro and Maria DeJesus Ramos V. DeHaro, BCV #2082, Rudy and Soledad Dominguez, VI #2022, Joyce M. Greenfield, VI #2016, Donna and Harvey Carey, BCV #1940, and Vincente Martinez, BCV #1961, are alledgedly in violation of the Weld County Building Code and Zoning Ordinances, and WHEREAS, despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter, the violations have not been corrected, and WHEREAS, on the 8th day of March, 1994, a public hearing was held before the Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing any testimony relating to said violations, and WHEREAS, Maria DeJesus Ramos V. DeHaro, Donna Carey, Vincente Martinez, and Don Greenfield, representing Joyce M. Greenfield, were present at said hearing, and WHEREAS, Rudy Dominguez was not present at said hearing, although he was in contact with the County Attorney's Office by phone, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners delayed referral of said violations to the Weld County Attorney's Office for a period of thirty days to allow adequate time for property owners to bring subject properties into compliance, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to proceed with legal action against the above named individuals without further Board action if the subject properties are not brought into compliance within thirty days. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that if said violations still exist on April 8, 1994, the Weld County Attorney be, and hereby is, authorized to proceed with legal action against Alberto S. Haro and Maria DeJesus Ramos V. DeHaro, Rudy and Soledad Dominguez, Joyce M.
