RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING DEMOLITION OF DANGEROUS
BUILDING - HOCKENSMITH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on October 17 , 1990 , the Department of Planning
Services informed the Board that a building considered to be
dangerous to persons under the Uniform Code for the Abatement of
Dangerous Buildings is on property described as part of the SW} of
Section 18 , Township 4 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld
County, Colorado, said property being owned by Edward and Wanda
Hockensmith, and
WHEREAS, at the meeting of October 17 , the Planning staff
recommended that the Board grant the owner an extension of time,
until November 16 , 1990 , to complete demolition and clean up of
the property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Edward and Wanda
Hockensmith be, and hereby are, granted an extension of time,
until November 16 , 1990 , to complete the demolition and clean up
of the hereinabove mentioned property.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
October, A.D. , 1990 .
