Dear Ms. Harbert:
As provided by State Statute and Rules, an evaluation of the Weld County Veterans'
Service Office was completed on March 30, 1993. The evaluation included an
interview with Ms. Dorothy Strong, Weld County Veterans' Counselor.
The Weld County Service Office continues to perform well and Is an asset to the
county. Ms. Strong demonstrates a diligent and caring professionalism and
provides excellent service to veterans. Veterans, their dependents, and the
veterans' organizations know that every effort will be made to assist in claims made
with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The system used by the county office is efficient and will be improved by a move
to the Disabled American Veterans facility. This will allow the veteran to receive
assistance in a setting that allows more privacy.
Mr. Pat Persichino and Ms. Strong are true assets to your county. We are pleased
with the service given veterans In Weld County and look forward to future
evaluations. Thank you for your commitment to veterans affairs.
