RESOLUTION
RE: GRANT EXTENSION OF OIL AND GAS LEASE TO CFG ENERGY, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County, Colorado, is the holder of a certain oil and gas
lease originally grant to Dean L. Cummins, by Resolution dated August 7, 1991,
and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated September 9, 1992, the Board approved an
Assignment of Lease between Dean L. Cummins, Vanguard Exploration, Inc. , and C
and F Energy, Inc. , now known as CFG Energy, Inc. , and
WHEREAS, said lease covers land more particularly described as follows:
Township 7 North, Range 63 West, 6th P.M.
Section 21: ALL
Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, Thomas B. Croke, President of CFG Energy, Inc. , submitted a
request, on August 7, 1993, for a six-month extension of said oil and gas lease,
and
WHEREAS, CFG Energy, Inc. , in accordance with the Mineral Leasing Policy,
has submitted a bonus payment of $6,400 for granting the extension and $640 as
delayed rental for the term of the extension, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to extend said oil and gas lease with
CFG Energy, Inc. to, and until February 7, 1994.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the extension of oil and gas lease with CFG Energy, Inc. ,
pertaining to the above-described parcel to February 7, 1994, be, and hereby is,
granted.

Dear Clerk:
The Weld County Oil and Gas Lease covering the above referenced section,
dated August 7, 1991 (the "Lease" ) , was originally granted to Dean L.
Cummins, for a primary term running through 12:00 noon on August 7, 1993. By
Resolution recorded September 15, 1992 in Book 1351 at Reception Number
2303561, assignment of the Lease to C & F Energy, Inc. was approved by the
Board of County Commissioners. By change of corporate name, C & F Energy,
Inc. is now known as CFG Energy, Inc.
CFG Energy, Inc. has failed to make a discovery of oil and/or gas in paying
quantities during the primary term of the Lease. In accordance with
paragraph 24 of the Lease, the Mineral Leasing Policy Concerning Extensions,
adopted by the Board on August 29, 1985, CFG Energy, Inc. hereby request a
six (6) month extension in the term of the Lease, from and effective as of
the date of this request for extension.
Enclosed is CFG' s check in the amount of $6, 400 as bonus for granting of the
extension. Also enclosed is CFG' s separate check in the amount of $640 as
delayed rental for the term of the extension. We understand that the royalty
payable, shall remain the same as in the original lease.
