RE: DISMISS DANGEROUS BUILDING CITATION - HOCKENSMITH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Edward and Wanda Hockensmith were issued a citation
of dangerous building under the Uniform Code for the Abatement of
Dangerous Buildings , and
WHEREAS, said building was a fire damaged structure located
on property owned by Edward and Wanda Hockensmith and described as
SW} of Section 18 , Township 4 North, Range 68 West of the 6th
P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, this matter was considered at a meeting conducted on
October 17 , 1990 , and the owners were granted an extension of
time, until November 16 , 1990 , to complete the demolition and
clean up of said property, and
WHEREAS, at the meeting of November 19, 1990 , the Board
received a recommendation from the Department of Planning Services
that the violation no longer exists on this property; therefore,
said citation should be dismissed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the citation for
Abatement of Dangerous Buildings issued to Edward and Wanda
Hockensmith be , and hereby is, dismissed.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 19th day of
November, A.D. , 1990 .
