The permit was approved by the Board on May 13, 1974 for a hog operation, not to exceed 600 head. The Department of Planning Services' staff recommends that the Board vacate SUP- 242 for the following reasons: 1. Mr. Salberg is retired and has submitted a recorded exemption application for the purpose of splitting off existing improvements on the Special Use area. Mr. Salberg intends to sell off the home on the north half of the property along with approximately 5 acres. Once the north half of the property is sold off, the Special Use area would be under two separate ownerships, thereby creating the potential for conflict. 2. The hog operation has not been in use during the last three years and most of the equipment and improvements have been removed from the property. 3.
