RE: APPROVE JOSTENS LEARNING CORPORATION SUPPORT SERVICES RENEWAL AMENDMENT
WITH EMPLOYMENT SERVICES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Jostens Learning Corporation
Support Services Renewal Amendment with Weld County Employment Services,
commencing January 1, 1994, and ending December 31, 1994, with further terms and
conditions being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said
amendment, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Jostens Learning Corporation Support Services Renewal
Amendment with Weld County Employment Services be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of December, A.D. , 1993.

JOSTENS LEARNING CORPORATION
SUPPORT SERVICES RENEWAL AMENDMENT
I. This Amendment for services extends the terms and conditions of the prior Agreement dated June 30, 1990 between
Jostens Learning Corporation and Weld County Division of H.R.E.S (Licensee). In all other respects the terms and
conditions of the prior Agreement remain in effect.
II. This Amendment will be in effect for the period January 1, 1994 to December 31, 1994. The services will be extended on
an annual basis,subject to cancellation by either party with a written notice of not less than 30 days. Suspension of any
services may result in a reinstatement fee.
Jostens Learning Corporation will provide the following:
A. System Support,which consists of:
1. Enhancements,software replacement and re-installation
2. Technical support for the System(s)through a toll-free helpline and modem support
3. System Engineer support
4. Consumable supplies for 25 learners.
B. Hardware Maintenance,(6 INVEST Stand Alone workstations,JLC Hardware ONLY)
1. On-call technical support,which includes advance exchange for any hardware
that cannot be repaired on-site,will be provided
2. Hardware that is lost,stolen,or unrepairable will be replaced.
III. Services will be provided at the following site(s):

Subject: Employment Services Training Center
Enclosed for Board approval is the Purchase Agreement between Employment Services
and Jostens Learning Corporation.
The Purchase Agreement is for renewal of support services for twenty-two (22)
student workstations and consumables located at the Weld County Division of Human
Resources and maintenance of the hardware on the six (6) Stand Alone
workstations.
Total cost of Agreement is $6,855.00, which includes $5,355.00 for continuing
support services, $1,500.00 for continuing hardware maintenance for the period
beginning January 1, 1994 through December 31, 1994.
