BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld'
'County, Colorado, that they hereby approve a certain agreement with the '
- State- Highway Commission of Colorado, a public corporation,.for the use- ___ _ ___
and benefit of the Department of Highways of the State of Colorado,
dated SEPTEMBER 29, 1959 , whereby the County. has reviewed and ap-
proved the Geometric Standards designated to govern the construction
of a Federal Aid Secondary Project No. S 0030(8) of improvements
extending between Jct. SH 185-52 and Dacono on State Highway No. 52, for
approximately 2.273 miles.
as per terms of said Agreement on behalf of Weld County by signatures
of the.Board, as per attached Agreement, and made a part of this resolution. •

COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT entered into this 29th day of SEPTEMBER 19 59 ,
by and between the County of Weld party of the first part, and
THE STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF COLORADO, a public corporation for the use and
benefit of the STATE OF COLORADO, party of the second part, WITNESSETH that
WHEREAS, The Department has constructed, or proposes to yo struct, or
provide for the construction of, a project known as Project S 0030`8 approximately
2.273 miles long, gg wic xu extending between Jct. SH 185-52
an* uacona on State Highway No. 52 in
the County, and
_ __ __WHEREAS, the said State Highway is part of the Federal Aid Secondary
System,
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with the Federal Aid Act of 1950, the
Parties have jointly reviewed the Geometric Standards governing the type of
construction for said Project and have agreed as follows:
That the 1957 Annual Average Traffic Volume, as determined from actual
vehicular count, by the Planning and Research Division of the Department is found
to be 1250 vehicles per day. Therefore, in accordance with approved and
established practices, the traffic volume twenty years hence is estimated to be
2625 vehicles per day. Consequently, the type of construction shall be that
designated as Type B of the Geometric Standards dated August 1, 1952, more fully
described as follows:

The surface shah consist of Plant Mixed Asphalt 24 feet
wide on a roadway 44 ...� feet wide. The maximum grade shall be 2.0
percent and the curvature shall not exceed 0 degrees and 30 minutes.
The rights of way shall not be less than 150 feet in widths sxae ttxttaccra*E*

design load of __ H-20 . Those structures_having- a length less than-sixty (60)
feet shall have a 'clear roadway width, between curbs or wheel guards, of than -sixty,
feet and those having length of sixty (60) feet and over shall have a clear
roadway width of 2� feet.
This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the
Successors and assigns of the Parties Thereto.
This Agreement is executed with reference to the signatories on behalf of
the County by virtue of a resolution passed at the meeting of the Board of County
Commissioners held on SEPTEMBER 29, 1959 a certified copy of which is
attached hereto.

'RESOLVED, that this Board hereby approves a certain Agreement with
THE STATE HIGHWAY CQUISSION OF COLORADO, a public corporation, for the use and
benefit of the DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS of the STATE OF COLORADO, dated September 29 ,
19 59 , whereby the County has reviewed and approved the Geometric Standards
designated to govern the construction of a Federal Aid Secondary Project to consist
of improvements on State Highway No. 52 ,xbeg*nngxa8 extending between
