Dear Mr. Lewis:
Thank you for the letter submitted to our office requesting the addition of a
truck wash facility to the property. The Department of Planning Services' staff
has reviewed the proposal and determined that this proposal represents a material
deviation from the approved plans.
An amendment to the existing permit will be required. The first step in
obtaining an amendment is for you or an authorized representative to contact me
and schedule an appointment to discuss the amendment procedures. I am willing
to assist you in any way that I can.

RE: New Wash Facility
Dear Mr. Grubb:
We are in the planning stages of our new truck wash facility. A
description of the operation is as follows.
1. A drive through wash that will clean the outside of our trucks
and trailers. This is the meat hauling operation and not the
live cattle hauling. Cleaning will be done by chemical and
high pressure rinse.
2. The inside will be washed by a high pressure hotsy washer by
hand.
3 . All liquid will go into a 3000 gallon holding tank and sand
trap and dispensed into the Greeley City sewer system. This
has been approved by Joe Kunovic of the Greeley City Water
Pollution Control Facility.
4. All solids larger than 3/16" - 1/4" in size will be swept up
and disposed of via the dumpster and authorized land fill.
5. Building is to be engineered by Monfort Engineering.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact me
at 353-2311, ext 7892 . The environmental impact of the facility
will be forthcoming. -
