RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZE SALE OF SAME TO WINNERS
MOTOR CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative Manual require
that all items disposed of be declared surplus by the Board of County
Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a bid proposal from Winners
Motor Corporation, and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain equipment, described as six
Sheriff's Office patrol cars, being more fully described in said proposal which
is attached hereto and incorporated herin by reference, is no longer required for
County use, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a request to sell said equipment
for and in consideration of the sum of $10,548.00, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus
and approve said bid proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared
as surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the bid proposal from Winners
Corporation in the amount of $10,548.00 be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of June, A.D. , 1993.

FOR: SALE OF SIX SHERIFF PATROL CARS
The following are the bidders for the sale of six sheriff- patrol cars.
All bids will be considered as final, and no adjustments on price will be allowed
at a later time. All prices will be quoted FOB Greeley, Colorado and it is the
buyer's responsibility to pick-up. The successful bidder will be required to
provide Weld County with certified funds to equal 1/2 of the total bid price on
notification of bid. The other 1/2 must be received prior to the vehicles
leaving our premise, or the titles being transferred.
